Solved Any way to speed up Jammer / Ophelia?

Ugg. My biggest complaint so far is if I have to follow Ophelia (Bomb Collar or the Butchery Quest) or Jammer ("Let's explore South Boston with Ophelia" quest after Unwanted Guests) it's torture, they move *so* slowly. Even if I turn off "Always Run" I still catch up to them and pass them. And with the current quest, the one after Unwanted Guests, they don't even have quest markers. And the quest broke on me. They got to some point south of Diamond City near to the railroad bridge over a split highway (seems to be a focal point, since it seems to be the same place Ophelia tested her bomb collar) and stopped and stood there. Several minutes later I quit out and left to do things in RL. Like, cheese and rice, I have to trail them all over south Boston *again* ? >.< Meh, I am going to rewind back to before Unwanted Guests and go back to Nuka World to take on the parks. That'll be more fun than trying to keep myself at a slow enough crawl to not pass them by.

As with any npc they have to hit markers/check points as they traverse and you need to be behind them at each of those.
You know that if they ran the route someone else would be here complaining that they are running when they should be walking. "Why would they be running if they're supposed to be looking for someone"?

Can you post a screen shot of the location of where the quest broke please?

We figured out the cause for this issue with them getting stuck during that sequence and will have it solved for 4.0.9. Once we do, you won't have to worry as much about them reaching their marks and you'll be able to just stay in the larger area killing and looting while they wander around without you if you so choose.

The current design of these quests is definitely the sort of thing that will appeal more to folks who enjoy character development, as they're supposed to be little bonding experiences so you get to learn more about the characters. I know that's not for everyone, so maybe one day we'll go back and add ways for you to skip it with console commands or something, but for now that's not in the cards.
