Suggestion Swan's Pond (NOT Rag-Soda)

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/38025

I haven't had a look at it yet (I'm busy doing Starbound stuff these days) but this one seems to be better built.
Precombineds are not broken, Sim Settlements Plots will work, custom borders are made for every location I do and it's an ESL-Flagged ESP since 253 plugins are already far too few & bundling can be problematic if there's conflicts at specific locations with other mods like quest mods. Build area is fairly large at 4 cells(2x2) and fits just inside cell boundaries. Other locations I do are usually 6 cells, since I like a big build area but not to the point of being like Spectacle where it can unload cells at one end of the build zone when the player is at the other. Can't scrap much but it's far lighter on performance this way.

Feel free to suggest new Settlement locations, especially those where one got made at a good spot but it's broken.

Further increased chances if the broken settlement is from an author who File Bans people for making simple requests or bug reports, stuff like precombineds being broken (which can tank performance if you're not on high end PC which not everybody is using high end like 2080 Ti or 1080 Ti, i9, etc) or Sim Settlements plots not working due to issues with the settlement(like it not getting registered properly).:(

I might have to scrap a location if it turns out that big problems occur with Quests or NPCs, especially if it's Main Quest & important NPCs. I also ideally want to avoid affecting big quest mods like Tales from the Commonwealth or Atomic Radio, etc though that might be impossible to account for in some locations and there are many quest mods. I had problem at General Atomics Galleria but luckily the fix was easy in that case though I probably have to have a bit of caution as it's possible that in some situations it might be extremely difficult to solve or potentially impossible, in worst case scenarios it might require significantly altering base game quest which can easily break other things. I would hate having to say "activate it only after completing X quest" since I think players have enough to keep track of already, game isn't exactly "Plug N' Play". Good news is, so far it seems Radiants are okay! Big thanks to @RayBo for testing those at Breakheart Banks!

I am beginning to learn scripting, so that might open up some new options for fixing issues at settlement locations. Things like scripting in unlock conditions, though IMO I still think that's a bit of a pain for players in a game like Fallout 4 where having to restart on a new game is very common. City Planners like @Yagisan typically will build on a new game each time, so I think late game unlock is really not ideal since for me the goal overall is to add locations for Conqueror raiding.

Settlement locations currently under consideration:
Ha!

@VersusXV is rocking the custom Settlement World!
Thanks!

It's there still lots of Rad damage at swans pond @VersusXV? Or are the barrels scrapable?

A suggestion:
I built this using camp and it's possibly a great place for a settlement with mainly internal plots. It's above the car park across from Faneuil Hall and has it's own elevator, which is super cool having that for the entrance to your mini settlement. 20181127234419_1.jpg

Sorry that's the only screen shot I have of it.

@Phil_T_Casual since it's not a vanilla settlement scrapping the barrels won't remove the radiation, the radiation is actually a separate object from the barrels. In Starlight the radiation marker was tied to the barrels so that scrapping the barrels would scrap the radiation marker as well. I've been considering doing a Cleanish mod for Swan's Pond, I just hadn't decided if I really wanted to or not. But I might go ahead and do it. :D

Ah, good to know.
I just though maybe the rad damage was removed when converting it a settlement.

For the record - I do in fact have this settlement, and I have a good idea of what I want to build here. I'm just short of free time right now.

Me too, my free time has sadly been pretty limited at the moment
