Dear me. At this rate I will break my game.

So much fun building stuff - when you click to the special tricks of WS+! ;)

Are you cloning entire floors?

I've tried, but have a hell of a time getting them to align properly. Snapping won't work for me.

Nope - each piece placed individually. I thought of cloning each floor but realized that the snapping would be impossible.

Walls still to be done, plus whatever I decide to put on the roof. ;)

Dang.

I hoped you'd discovered the technique.

I really like your variation of your earlier light shaft idea.

What I have been doing is cloning individual pieces. Was trying last night to get video recording working - no joy. (Well, I got the video going - the audio was awful.)

Any rate, what you do is make the base structure out of the pieces you need. Hunt through the menu system once only to place the pieces down.

Then when you want to start expanding:

* select an existing piece
* move it to snap where you want it
* clone that piece in place

Repeat until you’re done with that piece, then cancel move and it pops back to original location. Start again with next piece you want.

That little trick with WS+ saves an unbelievable amount of time. It also means that you have an unlimited amount of building materials - since cloning uses no materials.

I can put a new floor on that skyscraper in short order, depending on if I’m having trouble getting the snapping right. The mesh floor light shaft/public area is tricky.

My hanging gardens idea went a little bit extreme.

And that's without Uituit's JT - Extreme.
