How much food does agri plots give?

It looked like I'm only get 1 food from a plot, which doesn't sound right since a settle will normally tend 6 plants, which normally means 3 to 6 food.

Hmmm ... good question. I'll have to look and post. (long day ... ti-ti ...)

It's Wild Meadow Farm, which I guess makes up for 1 food with 10 happiness?

by who? It is possible they intended for it to be like this. 10 happiness would be the offset.

If it's the one from Wasteland Venturers, then yeah it's intentional. The wild plants aren't really used for food, so they gave it a happiness bonus instead (since most of them are used in drugs or for medicine :P)

What @mytigio said - The Wild Meadow and Wild Forest are meant to only give happiness, but I didn't decrease the food enough. It's fixed for our next update!

Am I the only one who feel like the ag plots should have a better output at lvl 3... your normal settler can harvest 6 mutfruit in a close proximity. And lvl 3 farm (a fully developed farm) can only give us the base 6 we could get with less space? Seems like we should get a little extra for all that time we had 2,4. Is there a reason why?

Its a realistic system. If people want to save space and only plant mutfruit trees they can do so and turn off dynamic needs. If you want a realistic gameplay which sim settlements tries to bridge both realism and fantasy then the plots work. Space can be saved on farm plots by producing smaller plots. Eventually we will be able to use 1x1 plots and hopefully kinggath leaves the food values the same for those and we can reduce our farm sizes. But the food totals have been calculated and brainstormed with kinggath and a group of people with a background and or knowledge of diminishing returns. Some plots in earlier versions of Sim Settlements might have dug too deep into the food supplies, but these plots have been adjusted based of the information that has been acquired and will be noticeable in next version of Sim Settlements.

This sounds like a balanced solution!

the food yield on the agriculture plots should be the same on the addons unless their plot offers something different. Like the author may choose to boost happiness and reduce the food output of the farm. the complete break down for all plots is located on the wiki and all plots by addon authors are based on these values.

However, as i said above; the author can change these values. Luckily for yall, the new systems allows the author to inform you of their plot details if you chose to use the asam. No more information will be given on the updated asam. Actual gameplay will answer most of your questions.

Thanks, and I appreciate no spoilers, really! I'm so exited for this new expansion
