Question Salvage Beacons Not Under Utility?

I cannot find them anywhere, not in the Chem Station or in the Armorsmith workbench.

Have they been moved? Or is this some sort of mod conflict?

Do you have the perk requirement?

Requirements:
  • Local Leader - Rank 1
  • At least one Settler to assign to a new Miscellaneous Resource called "Communications Station"
If the above is true then check if you have an "electronic workbench?"
I had the same issue a while back and a different mod had moved the recipe there.

If you have the perk then my guess is another mod has moved the crafting recipe?

console player correct? you are not playing on pc?

I just console mine in when I need one :) haha.... but always been in the chem bench... would have to be another mod that moves stuff to other benches or a re-organization workbench mod.

I used to be console but now I am pc. I do not have the perk but to my knowledge why would not having the perk completely remove it from the crafting menu? Doesn’t make sense. I could try giving myself the perk through console and see what happens...

I also do have 1 settler and was able to craft the communications station and assign him to it, still no beacon in the Chem menu.

what is the electronic workbench?

Turns out the culprit was Lost AWKCR Patches, which was indeed moving the recipe to the Electronics workbench, which was also counterintuitive considering the workbench required local leader 2 while the recipe still required local leader 1...
Removing the patch solved it.

Thanks guys!
