Greentop Priory

Rhaevyn:
Thanks!! I actually kinda enjoyed the madness throughout this build and just kinda leaned into it for the write-up.

Barbara:
To be honest, I forgot I even moved it until your question!

I play on PC, so I moved it with Place Everywhere. I think it could theoretically be moved with console commands, though, too, so it may not be needed.

Is it not moving when you build the city plan, I take it?

Well that explains why the workshop seems to be partially buried when I used this plan. I thought it was generally advised not to move workshops, the original version of the ROtC city plan for Warick had various problems due to a workshop duplication which I thought was down to an accidental move.

Interesting. I had heard some limited word about problems with moving workshops, but honestly didn't think about it for this build. I'll have to remember this in the future.

For the daring, I'll try to pull the coordinates for the bench in my final save, of anyone reading this wants to move it where I did.

Time permitting over the next few weeks/months, I might see if there's an alternate arrangement I can do that doesn't involve moving the bench for normal users.

This was only my second city plan, so I'm still learning a bunch about compatibility for others' saves. I'm used to building primarily for myself and dealing with the fallout (puns always intended) from less-than-ideal choices.

The four hanging bunks in the main house aren't being counted as beds. At level 0 it has been quite the challenge to find places to throw down mattresses. Does the build rely on those bunks at all levels?

At varying amounts, yes. I had some trouble with that during the contest, too. The game seems inconsistent about counting the "blue men" as beds. I'll add this to my list of things to look into with this settlement.

Two issues at level 0:

- The crates that hold the stacked wine bottles are not static and end up getting thrown around by havok.
- A table appears to missing near the city planner desk.

I played with this city build for the first time just now and it is awesome! It is still lv1, looking forward to see it grow. You made a stellar job in transforming the main building to something that sits well in the general mood of the game and also feels unique and interesting.:good

I really like this city plan and I applaud your theme based off of the elements already there! I can't wait to use this city plan in my final(?) major playthrough. I would greatly appreciate it if you could fill me in on what add-on packs/ other mods you may have used to create this build so that I may play it to its full potential. Thanks in advance!

I have since lost the hard drive that had that Fallout 4 install, so I can't be positive of everything. I think the actual saves are still on my dropbox, and I could probably recover enough to tell you definitively, but I'm in the midst of a few projects Fallout and otherwise, so it may be a couple months, at least.

In my initial post, though, there's an image with annotations below. (Incidentally, that's something we all later realized is technically against the rules - whoops! That's neither here nor there at the moment, though.)

The abbreviations in brackets before the name will list the "set" that that plot came from. I do remember that I was using all of the Mega Packs at the time, and I tend to use the All-in-One version of Wasteland Ventures. I don't remember which of the Mega Pack add-ons I also had separately, but I don't think I was running any of the ones included Pack 1, and likely not Pack 2, separately. So you're more than likely fine if you leave those out and just run the combined packs.

If there are any abbreviations you can't parse out, let me know, and I'll see if I can.

Also, note as others above have indicated: I moved the workbench in this build, which apparently doesn't really play nicely with city plans. So, there's an empty spot in the shack on the side of the house, and ignore the giant red workbench in the graveyard. Whoops!

Hi. For some reason there is a huge mound of dirt in the original house, blocking, well, everything. I can't select it to remove it and refresh does nothing. Or is it suppose to be there?
