Just had this fella turn up at an outpost. Not a settler or faction member as far as i can tell. Hope i spelled the name right, maybe Bodhisattva ? ( i.e. with i think Bhuddist connections in real world). Or maybe CQ connected, as i found out with finding Maul in a previous no CQ playthrough.

He's part of the Wasteland Venturer's expansion. Specifically the APC weapon store. I forget what it's called. If you go upstairs you'll see his bed.

Also, take a look at the weapon he's carrying. If you recognize it, you may get the reference. WV is loaded with nods to movies.

He's Patrick Swayze's character from the film Point Break, a classic. The "50 year storm" weapon is a reference to the a storm with huge waves that he ends up riding at the end of the movie.

Edit: At least that's what I think it is in reference to. Don't want to give the idea that I'm privy to some inside information.

Ok, my next weapons store plot has been decide!

Thank you guys.
:blush
I love goose eggs like this. I can't begin to say how many caps I have spent on, CPT Baconsausages. :grin
:friends

I have even been taking the bag off of the raider in Cpt Coots blockade plot and fixing her up a bit.

So, much better if they are remotely attractive if I am going to to be yelled at like that. :good:mosking

Grim is spot on!
Even though I made Bodhi his own sleeping bag he steals mine. Or snuggles up with the other settlers. No morals whatsoever. He can be a city leader though, and has his own cool flag. It should be available as a choice on the city planner's desk once Warchild's Weapons levels up and he arrives.

There are a few movie references in there ;) there's one I don't think anyone has spotted yet concerning a game of cards.

Oooh, more plots to sniff out.

I think I've found most of the references but I didn't want to go tooting my own horn on the nexus page every time I found them. Well... I didn't want to do that this time, as I'm sure I did when WV was first released, lol. I'll be on the lookout for this card game though.

FWIW, not sure it's connected, but Bodhisattva is also the name of a Steely Dan song.
