I'm currently working on a 2x2 martial plot.
I'm going out of my comfort zone here and will make a themed martial plot. I have the pleasure to give you:

Minutemen Guard Force!
MGF is a special force within the Minutemen. Their sole purpose is to police the settlement they are in and make sure that no raiders, vicious beasts, thieves or pretty much anything breaking the Generals law will evade the justice. This includes me doing a lot of custom textures again. If anyone has any ideas for this themed plot. Please feel free to suggest them here.

maybe at 3rd level, it would have a helopad on top of it, scaled down, with a scaled down vertibird for rapid deployment ... think whirlybird sentry or a mod where I have seen a vertibird for settlement defense... or the MGF would have power armor suits available on the exterior porch of the plot ... miniguns, rocket launchers... an advanced weapons cache for the MGF or settler's to grab for battle...

And if you could have the MGF, when settlement is attacked, would click the flag that the "settlement successfully defended itself" so a non-fast travel survivalist doesn't have to sprint all the way across the map to go do battle... that would be awesome!

My initial plan wasn't to use a vertibird on lvl3. The plan was more like you wrote after, some armor suits and weapons. If it's doable of course. I have to see what I can get away with, with my (so far) limited knowledge of CK.

That sounds like a plan :)

Sadness hit today! :cray
I accidently installed an old .esp file over the current one and I don't have an uptodate backup. So I lost a good portion of my work. I'm slow making plots as it is. because I tend to do so much of my own materials, so this set me back at least a week. Right now I need something to drink.

:(

Thank you. Now I got some energy back after reading that nice reply.
(and perhaps the drink also helped a tad bit)

I finally caught up with what I lost and made a nice sleeping quarter for those Minutemen on shift. This is lvl2 only so it will be nicer looking later on. ;)

Every bunkbed in the world needs some posters and a pic of his/her girlfriend, right?
Oh? Wait? Is that a Sim Settlement poster I see there? 0:D

@MrCJohn I'm happy to report that I'm currently working on a quest on the lvl2 plot that will include getting a powerarmor. Said powerarmor will then make an appearence on the lvl3 plot, repainted and used by one of the defending Minutemen Guard Force officers.

I have to do a lot of new textures and I have never done a quest in CK before, so this will be fun. And also a big learning lesson for me. It also makes the release of this plot a little further away into the future. But he who awaits something good. :)

This is what I worked on today. Some new nice office desks for the Minutemen Guard Forces officer's. They are worth it. ;)

I made e whole new brickwall a week ago. Now, today, while driving past a construction site I realised. You don't do that, you don't swap out an entire wall. You only swap the broken bricks and let the rest be. So now I have to go back and merge the vanilla brickwall with my new one to make it look repared and plausible. And ofc AWSOME! :)

I managed to get hold of the security footage from the MGF office. As you can se, not much is happening besides some bubbles in the water and the fan is on. I wonder where all the officers are?

Sorry to say I have to ditch the quest. As it is right now, my modding skills with quests involved, and what I want to achieve with the quest, is somewhat out of sync.

I am however not giving up the idea all together. I will learn more and eventually have an update on this plot with the quest as I promised.

Don't give up dude! Ask kinggath for some assistance he made them for his advanced plots

Check the Welcome! thread. All is there.

I like the new martial plot the fact that acts as a defence and a residential is great! I've been wondering why more authors don't do this considering the xbox can only handle about thirty plots per settlement and that's not enough for all settlers
