Alternative plans for ROTC

I do like your description on your mods page. Very happy to see you finding your stride these plans are very nice.

Just wanted to thank you for these, they're fantastic and functional with some really clever design choices! I love the ROTC plots for the looks and exploration experience, but unfortunately they don't seem to be entirely operational after the latest SS2 releases. The detailed description you provided is excellent and solid advice for anyone starting out with Sim Settlements 2 for the first time.
Thank you for your kind words. I have a tough time deciding how far to go when building these. How much detail to put in. I keep the files size small and the settler count around 15 or so. I'm wanting the settlement to run smoothly more so than a bunch of extra clutter.

Thank you. If it weren't for Karvoc I would never have made it to the Nov finals. Karvoc taught me a lot last year.

I began a new playthrough and, as you recommended, I put down one of your city plans for Abernathy. And then it occurred to me: I haven't completed unlocking all of the plots in this playthough, via the main quest. That's not going to be something I'll regret later, is it?

No it won't be a problem.

Please go to the Nexus page. Link below. I have information specific to your question. I've outlined two ways to answer your question.

Look for "Fast Track" and the next paragraph. But reading the whole thing will be beneficial.

I hope you enjoy the settlements.

I think I read somewhere (maybe it was ROTC) where I should wait until after the Ronnie Shaw quest before implementing the Castle city plan. I only recently took the Castle in my current playthrough and was curious if you similarly advise waiting to use your Castle plan?

Hi, on my plans page I do recommend waiting until those quests are completed. I'm just being cautious. I'm not sure what would happen if you used the plan (any plan) before finishing those quests. Maybe nothing, I don't know. I suppose it depends on how much the plan changes the fort itself. My plan doesn't change any of the fort or what's underneath.
Maybe someone that knows for sure could add in here?

DUDE!

I fast-traveled to one of my settlements (built using one of your plans). When the game loaded I turned around and looked, and there was a friggin' AT-AT towering over me!

Let's watch the raiders mess with that! :getsome:
Wouldn't it be cool if that thing broke off the pad and went after raiders?
And that is one reason for the three extra addon packs.
The settlements below Bunker Hill (roughly) are basic SS2 and CH2 buildings. To meet SS2 requirements. The settlements above still meet requirements, but I tried to spice it up some without needing too many addon packs.

I really enjoyed doing Taffington, one of my favorite places to build.

Thanks for your post... that made my day.
