Tonight's hotfix addresses the following:
Xbox players, the versions to watch for when you can safely update are: 34 of SS2, and version 7 of Chapter 2.
For those of you who haven't seen it, I also started a post to track the issues we're currently investigating so you folks know if a fix is likely incoming soon for their issues: https://simsettlements.com/site/index.php?threads/currently-investigating.20360/#post-139985

- Fixed an issue where a second door was appearing in the Plutonium Well during the quest Well, Well, Well, that would prevent quickly exiting the area.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the Tools > Hijack menu from appearing in the holotape, which is used to control which SS2 doors are enabled at any given time, for the sake of accessing vanilla or mod-added areas that share a door location with SS2.
- SS2 will now attempt to force boot up the Chapter 2 controller quest if it failed to start on its own. This issue would have resulted in many oddities during quests, most noteably doors would lead to vanilla versions of cells, instead of the version with the SS2 story content.
- If you experienced this issue, you’ll want to roll back your save to before you received such a quest objective to go into a location.
- Fixed a bug at the start of the first SS2 quest, where any NPC would speak Jake’s line before you placed the first ASAM sensor.
- Jake’s terminal in the hardware store is no longer flagged as owned. This should prevent it from appearing as crime when accessing it.
- Fixed a bug that could prevent entering a settlement from running the correct updates to a variety of SS2’s system quests.
- Fixed a bug that could cause MALA’s stats to be reset after she arrived at HQ, which could then cause problems in the available energy amounts during the HQ tutorial.
- Jake, Aiden, Lupe, and Theresa will now be correctly returned to their normal outfits after the quest Moving Day starts.
- Temporarily disabled a requirement for non-facilities workers to have living quarters. This feature may be restored in the future after more controls are added to handle distributing NPCs to living quarters directly.
- Sever Supply Agreements action in HQ now correctly costs a “Command” instead of a Bottlecap.
- Fixed an issue that would cause factions to not send the help they promised during the quest End of the Beginning. Note that this fix is not retroactive, and will only work when asking for assistance after this patch.
- Max Scrap Logistics HQ can support is now correctly increased by 500 per supply agreement. Previously it was set to a flat 500 regardless of supply agreement count.
- Increased Scrap Logistics capacity to 100 per Endurance of logistics workers, which better reflects the expected numbers. This will also ensure that in the early part of HQ, Lupe can handle the needs of logistics for a few basic construction projects to increase the number of living quarters so HQ’s staff can get big enough to afford more NPCs working in the Logistics department.
- After starting a cleaning project, canceling during the “What should * be used for?” will cancel the cleaning project as well. This should allow players to explore through different options without committing Facilities energy if the room didn’t have an option they are looking for.
- Once the add-on maker’s toolkit is updated, creators will be able to release add-on packs with more options to ensure nearly every room can be used for any purpose.
- Fixed Simon’s quest regarding the library.
- Players who had previously spoken to him about the job, should find the quest starting shortly after loading this patch.
- Fixed several objects appearing incorrectly at Mass Bay and thus overlapping other items.
